October is an amazing month to visit Venice: the season comes to an end and the city is less busy. The weather in October is a bit crazy: sudden storms may happen but also a wonderful sun could rise unexpectedly. October 3-31, Every Wednesday, AperiSushi
Every wednesday night starting at 6.00 pm Al Timon Antica Mola hosts a wonderful aperitivo with sushi and wine at their location on the Fondamenta La Misericordia. Prices for sushi pieces start from 2 euros and wine starting from 3 euros. You cannot miss a special sunset at this location on the Fondamenta while tasting traditional Venetian Wines and sushi cicchetti at one of our favorite local spots in Venice!
October 7, First Sunday FREE Museum Visits
The first Sunday of every month it is possible to visit some museums in Venice totally free. On October 7, it is possible to visit Palazzo Grimani, Gallerie dell’Accademia, and Gallerie Giorgio Franchetti with no entrance fees.

October 11 Concert Bacharo Tour
On Thursday, October 11, Alessandro Cappelletto is performing with violin in 3 different wine bars in Venice: at 7pm in Adriatico Mar; at 8pm in Vecio Biavarol, and at 9pm in Latteria 2465.

October 6-14 Venice Design Week
Venice Design Week was founded in 2010 with the goal of enriching the relationship between design, arts and crafts. Since 2010, Venice Design week organizes exhibitions and events all over the city during the month of October every year. Most of the events are open to the everyone and free. This year we strongly recommend you to participate in the opening on Saturday 6th October at Oratorio dei Crociferi where at 3.00 pm you have the opportunity to meet the designers. The events are free but you need to register on Eventbrite here.

October 27 Concert with a View in San Giorgio Island
Asolo Musica and Fondazione Giorgio Cini have organized a concert with an amazing view of Venice on San Giorgio Island. The musicians will be playing S. Bach: Sonata n.5 BWV 1018, Sonata n.3 BWV 1029, Sonata n.6 BWV 1019 and include:

Francesco Galligioni, playing viola da gamba
Roberto Loreggian, playing organo e clavicembalo

October 27 Concert with Visit to Palazzo Grimani
On this saturday you’ll have the opportunity to visit Palazzo Grimani (at Santa Maria Formosa, Castello 4858) to see a concert performance by the Askari Trio: a trio composed by Mohamed Askari (from Egypt), Andrea Mozzato (from Italy) and Hatem Batta (from Palestine). In this trio, classical music merges with Arabic music to give birth to magical music which represents the blending of cultures. This multiculturalism epitomizes the history of Venice. This will be a delightful cultural experience all around!
