I’m a journalist but I’m not a journalist. I am not a tour guide but I organize trips abroad. I am a full-time dad and I do full-time fathering.

I do what I like and I prefer not to mix passions and work. I have worked for years with the Venice Film Festival as a journalist. Then I preferred to make a change, so that my passions could continue to remain such that there was still room to develop new interests, to grow.

Cinema, travels and love have been and are the engines of my life choices. These interwoven passions have allowed me to dream and lean towards other worlds (imaginary and real). I am waiting for my son to grow up so that I can watch movies with him and discover the world through his eyes.

Venice bridges in Fog

Destiny has led me to live in Venice. What is Venice if not a city among the most dreamed of in the world — among the most immortalized on the big screen and a destination for tourists in love from all over the world? How many stories are set in Venice? How many people have loved each other in and around Venice? An infinite number perhaps.

Venice is a living city that evolves. It is impossible to mold it. Favorite places change and there is always an opportunity to be surprised by something new. I would never give up viewing the sunset from my favorite bridge (Ponte de la Veneta Marina) on the Riva dei Sette Martiri, watching the sunrise from the Accademia Bridge, enjoying a summer festival in Pellestrina, a night walk in Piazza San Marco amid the winter fog, or a bicycle ride in the salt marshes of Lio Piccolo.
